Michael first became involved in motorsport when he was 18 years old. He has competed as a passenger on 1000cc grasstrack sidecars in his younger days, although spending more time eating grass than actually riding on it!!
Then he found it more enjoyable to spectate at Teeside Speedway once a week. Which he did for many years. One of his ambitions was to build a replica of Peter Collins 1976 World Championship winning bike, which he has now completed. He also has collected over the years his own memorabelia that includes Simon Wiggs 1994 World Championship winning longtrack leathers,Scott Nicolls 2005 SGP bike covers and new to his collection a set of Richard Hall's kevlars. A collection he is very proud to own.
Latest projects include building a full Godden grassbike and starting his own clothing company Ziglaracing for speedway & grasstrack riders/spectators, with his wife Sheila.
Ziglaracing is proving to be the exception to the rule as we have found,You Can Mix Business with Pleasure!!!
